Main Subject: Music

An easy enough exercise, or is it? Cool subject material. This is making the rounds at the moment on social media (Facebook) so I felt compelled to “play along’. List 10 albums that made a lasting impression on you as a TEENAGER, but only one per band/artist. Okay … here’s mine. And if this sounds like something you dig yourself doing … go for it 🙂

GB’s Top 10 Albums (when a teenager)

10.) Kraftwerk – Autobahn
09.) Pink Floyd – Dark Side of the Moon
08.) Led Zeppelin – IV
07.) The Beatles – Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
06.) Elton John – Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
05.) Mike Oldfield – Tubular Balls
04.) Alice Cooper – Billion Dollar Babies
03.) Jeff Beck – Blow By Blow
02.) Emerson, Lake, & Palmer – Brain Salad Surgery
01.) Yes – Relayer

FYI: My teenage years … ages 13 to 19 happened between; 1974 to 1980. I spent them living on the Jersey Shore (New Jersey USA). Towns like Manasquan, and Long Branch. At age 18 I was married. We moved to Florida for a spell in 1980.

Honorable Mentions: Three albums; The Rolling Stones – Some Girls / Black Sabbath – Paranoid / Nektar – Remember The Future. Very much a BIG part too my teen soundtrack.
