Uncle G’s FUN Movie Reviews
Spotlight: Quadrant (2024 Full Moon Features)

I watched Quadrant last night, and check this out, I’m going to watch it again (soon).

Quadrant is a very cool horror movie. Dare I say, could be one of Charles Band’s best. He directed it. Did a damn good job! If he makes a film, I’ll watch it. I’m not into them all, but I like the majority.

Quadrant was made for adults (includes nudity but not a porn flick). I appreciate that. I love R-rated movies, in the fact that kids are not the target audience. Something an older person like myself, could watch, and get a cheap thrill out of (teasing).

What is Quadrant? A FUN/scary tale involving the notorious, Jack The Ripper. The cast includes beautiful women (not the woke thing to say), who are also very good actresses. And the guys rocked! They were the glue that held things together, and they both helped make the women’s performances, stand out. Together, they jelled perfectly.

The photography was simply trippin’, which made the story come alive. Mind-blowing imagery. Even the stills used for promotion are jaw-dropping. I’ve seen a lot of Full Moon Features films. This one stands out!

In the background of this motion picture, is a wonderful score by Jonathan Walter, that fit in perfectly with what was on the screen. I pay attention to music. I wrote for a classic rock radio station, for years. Piano/keyboard music is a favorite. Regarding the film Quadrant, the score/music was perfect throughout. In a way, the sounds of a lonely piano became its own shady character, which added to the suspense.

Christian Carriga…Robert

Rating: Using the one to five-star scale, whereas one star would totally suck, to five stars which means it’s fucking awesome, your favorite “Uncle G” rates Quadrant…5 stars! In my opinion, Full Moon Feature’s Quadrant is strong enough for a sequel. I’m already looking very forward.

Note: I viewed Quadrant on the Full Moon Features streaming channel. Besides the actual movie Quadrant, on the streaming channel, you will find other videos related to the movie. I am a long-time fan of Full Moon Video Zone. That’s there, and also a “Joe Bob Briggs” screening, which I have not viewed. Should be FUN! There’s a low monthly fee. Good news, if money is tight, the streamer Tubi TV, is Full Moon Features friendly. Plenty of cool unedited (they do have commercials) Full Moon Features films, there. And it’s FREE!
